Call of the Dead
Intel Brief
A film crew stranded at a remote Soviet lighthouse must free the trapped Ultimis crew from a locked room, while evading a massive zombie director.
Setup Guide
Power
- Progress through ship and lighthouse routes to restore map flow and perks.
Pack-a-Punch Location
Lighthouse top via zipline progression.
Accessing Pack-a-Punch
- Open lighthouse route and enable required zipline travel.
- Use lighthouse access points to reach Pack-a-Punch level safely.
Stand-In
PARTIAL SOLOStand-In quest revolves around helping trapped Ultimis and completing item interactions across the map.
Open core ship/lighthouse routes and stabilize movement so objective travel is safe.
Begin the sequence linked to the trapped crew and complete the required item/action handoffs.
Handle George movement intentionally during objective windows so he does not break your progress routes.
Complete the closing interactions once all required steps and combat checks are satisfied.
Field Strategies
- Manage George Romero pacing; avoid random fights without objective value.
- Scavenger and crowd-control secondaries are high value on this map.
- Keep one player ready for lighthouse repositioning calls.
Special Enemies
A giant zombie director who patrols the entire map permanently. He walks through walls and water. If you shoot him, he becomes enraged (glowing red eyes) - moving faster and dealing more damage. The V-R11 Wonder Weapon temporarily pacifies him.
TIP Do not shoot George unless you are prepared to kite him. Water sources (the sea) and electricity reset his aggro. Coordinate George management as a team priority.
George Romero Control
Pull George away from active objectives before starting long interactions or revives.
Only commit to killing George when your team can cash in the reward safely and reset quickly.
Lighthouse and Zipline Routing
Use zipline transitions before the horde reaches stairs; late use creates avoidable choke deaths.
Treat lighthouse floors as staged fallback points, not static holdouts.
