Field Strategies

  • One caller plus one confirmer for Rushmore inputs prevents full-round resets on bad entries.
  • Craft at least one Ray Gun Mark II variant before late code chains to reduce bunker pressure.
  • Use telepads proactively for rescue rotations; bunker corners punish slow recoveries.
  • Time switch and picture-code tasks on controlled rounds, not during hound/jack spikes.

Special Enemies

Plaguehound

Zombie dogs that appear in dedicated hound rounds, similar to Hellhounds but they leave lingering acid puddles where they die. The puddles deal damage on contact.

TIP Do not stand where a Plaguehound fell - the acid persists. Move through open areas to avoid stepping in accumulated puddles during the round.

Krasny Soldat

Armoured Soviet soldier zombies that appear from mid-round onward. They have significantly higher health than standard zombies and move with purpose.

TIP Magmagat (Blundergat upgrade) or high-damage PaP weapons are recommended. Their armour absorbs the first several hits - focus on headshots to bypass.
