Setup Guide

Power

  1. Open prison loops toward Power House and Building 64 to turn on both sides of power.
  2. Route through Catwalk to Docks/Warden sectors so mid-quest rotations stay connected.
  3. Build Spectral Shield as early as possible, because both PaP and core quest checks depend on it.

Pack-a-Punch Location

Moves between Roof, Power House, and Building 64 after Spectral unlock.

Accessing Pack-a-Punch

  1. Craft Spectral Shield and absorb three souls with the key attack.
  2. Go to Roof and Spirit Blast the power box near the electric chair to summon Pack-a-Punch.
  3. Track rotating PaP position each cycle (Roof, Power House, Building 64).

Spectral Shield

Three-part buildable essential for the main quest and late-round survival. The Spiritual Essence and Shield Plate are random spawns; the Warden's Key is dropped by Brutus on his first appearance.

Complete bird hunts, code interactions, and spirit-vision checks in strict order while preserving one zombie.

Finish all challenge checks (including symbol and Simon-style logic) before advancing to post-prison sequences.

Complete escort pressure segments and lock in loadouts for the end encounter.

Finish final encounter

Close the final sequence cleanly with shield timing and controlled crowding in narrow prison routes.

Field Strategies

  • Magmagat plus Spectral Shield is the safest late-round combo for Blood quest consistency.
  • Do all code-heavy steps with one designated zombie holder and one caller to avoid failed repeats.
  • Plan catwalk and New Industries transitions before starting each major objective branch.
  • Shield blasts are best reserved for revive corridors and challenge-room emergency clears.

Special Enemies

Brutus

Returns from Mob of the Dead. Armoured warden that appears from round 4. He locks perk machines, Pack-a-Punch, and the Mystery Box on contact - making them unusable until he is killed. High health.

TIP Identical priority rule as MoTD - drop everything and kill Brutus immediately. The Spectral Shield's charged shot deals heavy damage to him.
