Main Quest Voyage of Despair

Intel Brief

The Titanic's maiden voyage is interrupted by something far more dangerous than an iceberg. The Chaos crew searches the doomed ship for the Sentinel Artifact.

Setup Guide

Power

  1. Open lower deck lanes quickly: Turbine, Boiler, Cargo, and Engine routes are your quest backbone.
  2. Drain water in Cargo Hold and Boiler Room early so late-round rotations are not movement-locked.
  3. Unlock all fast-travel links you actually use; they save failed runs during long code phases.

Pack-a-Punch Location

Accessible after activating all four PaP pedestals around the ship.

Accessing Pack-a-Punch

  1. Activate the four Pack-a-Punch pedestals in Cargo Hold, Turbine Room, Poop Deck, and Lower Grand Staircase.
  2. Use the rotating PaP spawn safely by pre-clearing nearby stairs and door lanes before interacting.

Ballistic Shield

Essential for Titanic corridors, revives, and close-quarters objective holdouts.

Voyage of Despair

PARTIAL SOLO

Voyage of Despair is a code-heavy elemental quest with strict symbol memory, catalyst management, and ship-wide movement checks.

01
Open and stabilize ship

Open all core decks, drain water, and activate PaP before touching advanced code steps.

02
Run clock and symbol logic

Read changed clocks, map elemental symbols, and process dial logic while maintaining a controlled zombie.

03
Complete planet and outlet phases

Run planet interactions and element-matched catalyst outlet kills in sequence with clear team callouts.

04
Execute artifact finale

Move the Sentinel sequence into final combat and finish the boss encounter with disciplined movement through stair funnels.

Field Strategies

  • Never perform code logic while two or more players are split in dead-end rooms; ship geometry punishes bad exits.
  • Assign one caller for symbols and one recorder for clocks/planets to avoid memory desyncs.
  • Use Kraken shots and specialists for stair resets, not routine kills in open corridors.
  • Catalyst kills must match required element steps exactly; avoid random catalyst bursts near objective outlets.

Special Enemies

Catalyst Zombie

Same three variants as IX (Fire, Poison, Electric) - present throughout the Titanic. The tight corridors of the ship make their death effects especially dangerous.

TIP The narrow hallways of Voyage make Catalyst death effects far more dangerous than in open maps. Always back up and maintain distance before finishing them.

Stoker

A special high-health zombie that charges with increased speed and deals heavy melee damage. Appears mid-round in the lower ship sections.

TIP The Sentinel Artifact is the fastest way to handle a Stoker. Otherwise, kite him around large furniture and focus sustained fire.

Pack-a-Punch Pedestals

01 Cargo Hold pedestal

Pedestal location for one of four required activations.

02 Turbine / Poop Deck / Stair pedestal route

Finish all four pedestal activations before beginning long quest chains.

Kraken Workflow

01 Chest phase examples

Use stoker key chest locations to spawn Kraken safely while one player holds the zombie.

02 Elemental upgrade path

Collect kit parts and convert Kraken based on your squad needs (control vs burst).
